Our story since 2006
Globally curated designer planters and home decor, made from natural materials and chosen to outlast passing trends.

About Gaia Pottery
Gaia Pottery is a globally curated collection of designer pots & planters and home decor — sourced from the finest artisan workshops across the world and selected personally by our founder. Every piece in the collection is made from natural materials. No plastic.
Since 2006, our planters and decor have found their way into luxury hotel lobbies, architect-designed homes, celebrity residences, and the living rooms of people who believe their space deserves more than mass-produced decor.
Shop the collectionWhy Gaia
Gaia is the Greek goddess of the earth — the origin of all living things. We chose the name because it reflects what every piece in our collection is made from: clay, cement, terracotta, wood, copper, and ceramic. Materials that come from the earth and return to it. Nothing synthetic. Built to last.
This philosophy runs through everything we do — from the materials we source and the workshops we partner with to the way we name our collections.

A Gaia piece in your home says: I notice the spaces I live in. I choose materials that last. I believe my surroundings should reflect who I am, not what everyone else has.

Built to last

I’m obsessed with finding pieces that don’t exist anywhere else. For twenty years, I’ve travelled to workshops across Europe, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Malaysia, and Bali. I don’t buy from catalogues. I watch firings. I inspect glazes. I handpick individual pieces. Most don’t make it. The ones that do arrive in Mumbai under my eye.
When you buy from Gaia, you’re buying something I selected. Not something manufactured to a template. Something I believed was rare and beautiful enough to represent who we are.
Our community
Our clients include some of India’s most recognised luxury hotels, celebrity homes, and commercial spaces — though we don’t name them without their permission. Beyond the marquee names, our community spans interior designers, architects, landscape professionals, lifestyle store owners, and people who simply believe that what surrounds them should be beautiful, natural, and built to last.
Whether you’re furnishing a hotel lobby with 36-inch glazed planters or looking for a ₹150 ceramic figurine for your desk, you’ll find it here.
